The next Welly Rocks Meet up will be on Saturday 25 April 2009 and has a special subject: Rugby. It is the day that the local Wellington team The Hurricanes play against The Brumbies from Canberra, Australia in the Super 14 competition.
We will gather around 4.30 p.m. in Mac's Brewery to welcome newcomers in Wellington and enjoy this spacious and nicely situated bar close to the Te Papa museum.
The game starts at 07.35 p.m. and there are big screens to watch the game in the bar. Alternatively, for those who will be heading towards the stadium, you can always kick off with a few rounds of drinks at Mac's. It is also a perfect opportunity to find out what the rules of rugby are if you are not familiar with the game.

On a lovely Saturday we had another meet up in Macs brewery and this time we welcomed 3 new migrants. Most of the people who attended the meet did not see the fantastic win of the local rugby heroes. This was only because of the lively conversations and when we left it was nearly midnight.
